The University of Manchester has opened applications for its Global Futures Scholarship,  and we want to make sure our community doesn't miss it.

Scholarship Details

  • Award Value Up to £30,000, varies by programme
  • Study Level Undergraduate & Masters, full-time on campus Intake
  • September 2026 admission required to apply

Who Is Not Eligible to Apply

  • MBA, MPhil, Master of Architecture (MArch), Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry degrees.
  • Some ‘Master’s by Research’ courses.
  • Those who've studied a Bachelor’s degree outside of Africa.
  • Blended and distance learning programmes.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Offer of Admission — Must be admitted to the University of Manchester
  • Selected Countries — Within Africa, the awards are open to applicants domiciled in the following countries: Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
